The Council of Elders Circle of Protection is a consortium of businesses, organizations, and individuals brought together because of their concerns for today’s youth and their future.   All members of the consortium share common goals:

To ensure that youth develop social and emotional skills that will enable them to be successful in school and life.

To ensure that individuals who would otherwise lack strong male role models in the home and community have actively involved, nurturing mentors/male role models.

To develop the capacity, partnerships, and proficiency needed to provide expert technical assistance regarding implementation and cooperation among the mentor/male role model, the school, and the community that will enhance academic achievement by enriching social and emotional skills.
